Cheap Trick Robin Zander

Cheap Trick

I had a friend when I was about 8 years old whose older brother would play the electric guitar for us. This brother had a friend who played the drum set. And together they are jammed. His brother's friend could tell I was fascinated with them and let me get behind them and start banging or playing them. or trying too anyway. He tried teaching me a few things, like how to keep a beat, tempo, AHe pulled a few records to try and teach me and practice. One of them was a song by Cheap Trick called southern girls. I practiced every time I went over, and he could not believe how quickly I learned how to pick it up. It just came to me. I learned how to play most of the songs. Every time I hear that song; I can't help but pretend I'm hitting the bass drum with my foot and hitting the high hat with my hand. That is how that started. Me playing the drums. A few years later I attended a drum by Sandy Genero. I was the youngest person there by far. at the time I was around 11. Everybody there was either in their teens or 20s. I could not believe it when he called on me to play how long with him on the other drum set. I held my own. Nobody could believe it. He was impressed. I would go on to become the first chair drummer in school for three years in a row. Unfortunately, I quit playing in the school band in high school. I had a major disagreement with the drum instructor and threatened to quit. He didn’t think I would, He tried to bully me, so I quit and became a football star. That did not mean I stopped playing the drums though. Are you kidding me. I loved it. At the same time, my father owned a concert hall called La Villa Real. He would partner all his rock shows what's Louie Gavrel. My dad was the local promoter. I recently wrote a memoir about growing up, then working at that concert hall. I wanted you all to have a copy. locking mention in the book, something to read when travelling. From Country music to Rock and Roll bands. From Tejano

Concerts, to international concerts. I have a story that covers all genres of music. Definitely has a regional flair, but no matter what kind of music, I'm sure you’ll find it interesting, and can relate.

I ended up having this book published, but printed a few books, that contain a story I wrote that is not in any of the published books. That story Has to do Cheap Trick concert. These books are just for you all to read and enjoy.

A further description can be found on the back of the book,
